AUDIO: MATT CAMPBELL ON HIS WIN AT THE PETIT LE MANS AND JOINING KGR AT BATHURST
Australian Porsche sensation Matt Campbell is in hot form after winning the IMSA Petit le Mans GTLM class at Road America in the Porsche 911 RSR last weekend. There was no time for Matt to celebrate as he hopped straight on a plane to come downunder, back home, well almost, to race the Bathurst 1000 with Kelly Grove Racing. When he landed in Sydney he sent through a couple of audio messages for us.
The Warwick born Porsche Factory Driver won’t make it home as the Queensland borders are of course still shut to those from NSW and overseas.

Once again Matt has sent us through some exclusive audio messages on his win at the Petit le mans event State-side, plus another message all about his up-coming drive at the Bathurst 1000 with kiwi Andre Heimgartner aboard the Kelly Grove Racing Ford Mustang, certainly a different beast from the refined Porsche’s Matt has been running.
Its two years since Matt has raced back home in Australia, and his last hit-out at Mount Panorama was in the Red Bull Ampol Racing teams Commodore with Shane van Gisbergen in 2017, where the pair finished in 5th spot. He’s also the current Bathurst 12 Hour champion after the win in 2019 along with team-mates Dirk Werner and Dennis Olsen.

Have a listen to what Matt has said about the win at the Petit le Mans event, last weekend:
Have a listen what Matt has to say about the coming Bathurst 1000 event with Andre Heimgartner:
We will have images of course from Bathurst along with driver interviews, plus so much more, stay tuned.
