HALF PRICE PARTS MEDIA DRIVERS ALL ON TRACK NEXT TWO WEEKENDS AT QR

THE NEXT two weekends will see all three of our Half Price Parts Velocity Magazine Media Drivers on track at Queensland Raceway, with the Supercars this weekend and the Shannon’s Nationals the following.

“Its really exciting to have all three Half Price Parts Velocity Media drivers with us for the next two weekends, its a first to have them all covered in a small time frame, so far this year they have been a dream to work with, whilst we supply them with photographs and coverage, its up to each driver to give us a few words each day how they have progressed, we then put that into a press release which we run on our website and Facebook pages.  We believe its both beneficial for them and the Magazine, they then feature in our printed glossy magazine.” said Darin Mandy Velocity’s Online Editor and Photographer.

First up this weekend is Madeline Stewart in the Super3 series, every track this year is a “first time’ for Madeline, a native New Zealander the young racer has been picking it up and learning the circuits to date very well, she is heading toward the pointy end of the grid, being in the top 10 over practice, qualifying and during the races, she is one woman in motorsport to watch!

Also at this round is Tyler Everingham, he’s already made a name for himself in local racing and has now stepped up to the second tier in Supercars, this is his first year in Super2’s, its been a tough start but he turned it around somewhat at the last round in Townsville for the 400 where he finished with an 8th and 11th places.  Racing with Matt White Motorsport he’s teamed with series leader Bryce Fullwood in Nissan Altima’s.

AND Next weekend our youngest Media Driver 14 year old Kyle Evan’s will hit QR in his Series X3 Hyundai which are on the Shannons Nationals drawcard.  Kyle has been running two X3’s this year in two different series, just a few weeks ago he out-shone a number of very talented drivers to finish 3rd for the weekend in the CAMS Queensland Motor Racing State Championships at Morgan Park Raceway, with only two of the states most experienced drivers in Cam Wilson and Cameron Bartholomew ahead of him.  Evan’s too will be a driver to watch in the coming years, he has a great family support crew behind him.
