Replica Tourers Trophy Series category management has announced it’s naming rights sponsor for 2025 in Rubbercraft Tyres Australia.

Queensland’s largest and arguably Australia’s fasted growing tin top touring car category, Replica Tourers Trophy Series (RTTS), has now finalized discussions with it’s new naming rights sponsor for Season 2025 Rubbercraft Tyres Australia. At the start of January this year, RTTS put an EOI for a new naming rights sponsor for all 7 rounds of it’s series which includes three televised rounds as part of the national Hi-Tec Oils Super Series.

Category Manager and series CEO Brian Smallwood commented on the process- “With our growth continuing at such a significant rate, we thought we would open our series sponsorship to a wider audience to assess what companies may have seen or been watching the series. We were certainly very surprised to learn there were quite a few companies, some being well known household names, following the series and to that end we received some excellent proposals!

After a review though what stood out to us was the proposal we received from Rubbercraft Tyres Australia. While Rubbercraft Tyres Australia is a relatively new player in the Australian motorsport tyre landscape, they are rapidly getting a great reputation for quality and affordability in that space. Several of our series drivers had also been part of some of their initial market track testing in early 2024. After being pleasantly surprised in receiving their EOI, what we really liked about this company was not only the directors were race drivers themselves, we saw many synergies with RTTS in regard to their commitment to grow their brand with a key focus being to support grass roots motorsport”.

Speaking with Rubbercraft Tyres Australia representative Simon Anthonisz, he was excited with the new association- “As a new company and brand only 18 months old in Australia supplying dedicated motorsport tyres, we were looking for a series to align with that would provide us with great exposure and relevance within the grass roots racing scene nationally.

After following RTTS’s growth for several years, we could easily see how popular it was becoming with fantastic grid sizes (30-40 cars for each round) and was clearly very appealing to the fan base and spectators.  Race fans clearly love the variety and nostalgia associated with RTTS.  After our initial approach as part of the EOI process, we learned RTTS now has 90 registered drivers and a very large social media following not only in Australia but throughout the Asia Pacific region! Plus they are expanding their involvement with the nationally televised Hi-Tec Oils Super Series and branching into other states. We look forward to working with the RTTS team and drivers in 2025.”

For Season 2025, all cars competing in the series will wear the Replica Tourers/Rubbercraft Tyres Australia windscreen banner plus one of the competitive 6.2lt class Commodores will be sporting a full Rubbercraft Tyres Australia livery.

With flags, banners and trade displays planned for each event RTTS will be at this season, it certainly looks like a great association in the making.
