If you are a follower of Velocity Magazine you’ll be aware we love to champion Aussie and Kiwi drivers racing overseas, and Scott Andrews is one of the drivers we follow, last night he sent us an email to say he’ll be racing in his dream event, the Le Mans 24H, and he’ll be doing it in a Ferrari!

Read below what Scott sent through to Velocity Magazine. And can we be the first to say congratulations Scott, we can’t wait to see how you go, its an amazing event, certainly one of our favourites here at Velocity, and both John Morris and Darin Mandy have been to the worlds best endurance race, and when the world heal’s itself we will be heading back.

Got the nod for the Le mans 24h in LMGTE AM!!  CarGuy sponsored #57 Kessel Racing ferrari 488. 

My Teammates will be Takeshi Kimura (CarGuy) and Mikkel Jensen (factory Peugeot HyperCar driver) 

“I’ve dreamt of doing this race since I was a child. After a successful race at Portimao with this team I was extremely excited and honored to be included in the Le Mans 24 driver line up. The atmosphere is amazing at this race, there’s not a lot like it. We had a productive low downforce test at Paul Ricard a few days ago so we hope that can translate into some good speed at Le Mans.”

“A massive thanks to CarGuy and Kessel Racing for believing in me. I look forward to doing our best job and seeing how we end up. “

We are working on more updates from Scott, along with other Aussies like Matt Campbell, and token Aussie Jaxon Evans (sic) LOL, more to come, the 2021, 89th edition of the Le Mans 24 Hours gets underway 21-22 August.  We cannot wait!!
