Triple Eight Race Engineering have ripped the covers off the team’s two Dunlop Super2 Series Championship supercars, piloted by current driver Angelo Mouzouris and newcomer Broc Feeney.

After his promising debut season was cut short due to the impacts of Covid-19, including a best placed fourth finish at Sydney Motorsport Park, the #10 VF Commodore of Mouzouris welcomes continued backing from major partners pitbox.io and Mantel Group and showcases a striking pink and blue colour scheme with the addition of Over The Way Wines.

Season 2021 will see the return of #888 on a supercar, with Feeney featuring the famous number on his challenger, alongside major backing from Red Bull and Boost Mobile. The team will also receive support from Supercheap Auto, Firestar Developments and Marsh Height Safety as partners in the development series.

Broc joins Triple Eight after winning the 2019 Super3 Series Championship, as well as making his Super2 Series debut in 2020, finishing seventh in the Championship. Broc also made his Supercars main game co-driving debut at the 2020 Bathurst 1000, finishing 10th.

Having successfully competed in the development series from 2011 to 2013, Triple Eight returned to the category in 2019, fielding Kurt Kostecki and Brenton Grove, who finished second and seventh in the championship, respectively. For Triple Eight, the return of a two-car Super2 campaign offers an opportunity to continue developing not only young driving talent, but also engineers and mechanics.

The 2021 Dunlop Super2 Series will comprise six rounds, with the first round beginning February 26 at the Mt Panorama 500.

Angelo Mouzouris:
“How good does the pitbox.io car look! I’m really happy with how the livery turned out and I know our partners will be too – it’s certainly going to stand out on track. I’m very appreciative of both Mantel Group and the team at pitbox.io. They have been with me throughout my Super2 journey and now I’m fortunate to welcome Over The Way Wines for the 2021 season as well. Hopefully, this year we can put on a better show with more racing on track, along with sponsor activities off the track. It was a tough off-season to get the funding together for 2021 but we made it, and I am even more determined to make a step forward this year. There were some positive learnings from last year and I know what I need to do this year to race at the front. I’d lastly like to give my thanks to Craig and Lara Lowndes for supporting me throughout last year and now moving forward into this year. Together with the Super2 team I’m looking forward to having a real crack.”

Broc Feeney:
“I think that the car looks incredible this year. To see ‘Feeney’ under the number 888 with Red Bull, Boost Mobile and Supercheap Auto as the sponsors is just surreal to me. I can’t wait to see it hit the track and to finally share it with the public. Growing up as a kid in sport, you dream of one day being associated with Red Bull, so to have them on my car, suit and helmet is a dream come true for me and an opportunity that I look to capitalise on. To continue my partnership with Boost Mobile Australia is unreal. I’ve been working with Boost for nearly two years now, starting from a sticker on my helmet, to driving in the Bathurst 1000 and now to supporting my 2021 Super2 program. I cannot thank Peter and Jason from Boost Mobile Australia enough for giving me the opportunity and to be able to work with such a successful brand. They gave me a big break last year and I look forward to continuing to work with them. I also welcome back Marsh Height Safety and Firestar Developments who have been supporters of mine for several years – it’s great to have the support that I do in 2021. It has felt like forever after ending the season at Bathurst last year, but I have spent my time preparing the best way I can to return to Bathurst for the season opener. I have plenty of miles now at Bathurst and I can’t wait to kick the season off. It has been four months waiting, but I’m ready to go racing now!”
