ADPV BMW M3 Racing are set to join the Australian Production Car Series at the upcoming Queensland Raceway ‘Fight in the Night’ round, with experienced driver Ben Walsh announced as co-driver.
Jason Simes, Team Owner and Driver, commented ‘we are extremely excited to have a driver of Ben’s pedigree join us in our first foray into the Australian Production Car Series. Walsh’s experience and results over a 25-year career, from F3 internationally to SuperUtes and Aussie Racing Cars here in Australia, places the team in a very strong position to challenge for the win in Class B2. Ben will be combining his commitment with ADPV BMW M3 Racing together with driving in the Super Utes championship for 2018’
The team will campaign the BM Racing prepared BMW M3 E36, which was leading the recent Willowbank 300 endurance event until a minor mechanical failure resulted in their retirement.

‘We were placed really well to win that event, until a diff mount bolt let go ending our race. The team has spent a lot of time and effort in preparing the car for the upcoming Australian Production Car Series debut and we are confident of a strong result’, commented Simes.
ADPV BMW M3 Racing will also be contesting the remaining rounds of the Qld Production Car Series, and are targeting the Bathurst 6 Hour event next Easter.
‘Plans are firmly in place to evolve the team. With strong support from ADPV Workplace Drone Solutions, the great team at BM Racing preparing the car, and experienced co-driver Walsh on a long-term commitment, we are quite ambitious for the future. This also includes a potential move into Class A1 or A2 sometime in 2019. We are curently assessing our options in that regard ’, said Simes.
