NTI CONFIRMS THREE-YEAR SPONSORSHIP OF SUPERCARS TOWNSVILLE EVENTS

Supercars has sent out a media release today seeing NTI Limited a truck insurance and roadside assistance company as the naming rights sponsor for the Townsville events for the next three years, but still no news on back-to-back events in the sunshine, albeit for a faux pas with dates on the Ticketek website yesterday, since now removed.

Our mates at Speedcafe.com (and we mean that nicely) ran a story about tickets on sale for two Townsville events back to back 29-30 Aug and 5-6 Sep, however all details of any Townsville events and ticket bookings as been removed from the Ticketek website, we actually alerted Speedcafe to it being removed.

So who knows, Supercars are staying tight lipped about two events.

NTI Limited has signed a three-year deal as the Official Naming Rights Partner of the Townsville Supercars event, starting with this month’s NTI Townsville SuperSprint on 29-30 August.

NTI is the official Truck Insurance and Roadside Assistance Partner of the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship and its online brand Truck Assist was recently the naming rights partner of the most recent Supercars round in Sydney.

NTI backs several Supercars teams, holding naming rights of Lee Holdsworth’s Tickford Racing Ford and Garry Jacobson’s Matt Stone Racing Holden through its Truck Assist and Yellow Cover brands respectively.

“NTI is excited to extend our support of Supercars to include naming rights partner of the NTI Townsville SuperSprint,” said CEO of NTI, Tony Clark.

“It’s a natural extension of the relationships our Truck Assist and Yellow Cover brands already enjoy with the sport.

“We’re proud of how Supercars and all the race teams involved have remained committed and adaptive to this year’s race season.

“We know how important it is to the fans, and everyone involved behind the scenes, to keep the spirit and competition alive.

“We look forward to getting back on the podium again in Townsville.”

Supercars CEO Sean Seamer added:

“We’re delighted NTI has extended its partnership with Supercars with this new three-year deal to support one of our flagship events in Townsville,” Seamer said.

“To have an industry leader expand its support within our category is great news for our sport.”

The NTI Townsville SuperSprint will run at Reid Park in North Queensland on 29-30 August.
