AUDIO MATT CAMPBELL ON NURBURGRING AND LAS VEGAS

Its been a while since we have run any audio reports from Aussie Porsche ace Matt Campbell, in fact since we last reported he’s been in and out of Europe, Japan and the United States of America.  He’s still yet to travel to China and South Africa before the end of 2019.

We caught up with Matt just after his racing in Las Vegas with the GT World Challenge final round at the Las Vegas Speedway, a part road course and oval race track, last weekend.

The week before this event Matt was at the Nurburgring Nordschleife for the VLN Endurance Championship, unfortunately as you’ll hear he didn’t get to race the car as his team mate crashed it in the Friday practice and they were out for the event.

Last weekend just gone, in the GT World Challenge final round at the Las Vegas saw Matt and co-driver Anthony Imperato scored a class podium that would see them go on and take second place in the PRO-AM Championship with the Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R team.

Matt has a big race program coming up in 2020, he’ll soon have news what that will entail.
