Darwin’s only Supercars driver Bryce Fullwood will make his debut in the Aussie Racing Cars on home turf at Hidden Valley Raceway next month.
The 20-year-old will also race in the Commodore Cup category at the same event, presenting double racing duties for the local racer.
Fullwood said he’s excited about the opportunity and cannot wait to race in front of the local fans.
“I’m really excited to race an Aussie Car for the first time in front of my home crowd at Darwin, it will be challenging as I haven’t driven one before but hopefully I’ll go alright,” Fullwood said.
“They race so hard and Darwin is known to close the racing up and put on a good show, so I’m pretty keen to sink my teeth into some good and hard racing.
“I’ll also be racing my Dad’s VH Commodore Cup car, so it’ll be pretty busy as the classes are one after another, but it should be a fun weekend.”
Fullwood will race Blake Sciberras’ Aussie Racing Car, which is run by Western Sydney Motorsport.

The event will run alongside the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship, where Fullwood usually competes in the second-tier Supercars category, the Dunlop Super2 Series with Matt Stone Racing.
More recently Fullwood also took part in the Additional Drivers Practice at Winton Motor Raceway as part of the Supercars Championship, finishing a strong 8th in the session driving MSR’s Bigmate Racing Falcon.
Hidden Valley Raceway will welcome the Supercars for the CrownBet Darwin Triple Crown in two weeks time, running on 15-17 June.
