JUSTIN RUGGIER TO I-RACE ALONGSIDE VAN GISBERGEN AND CURRENT F1 STARS

Aussie Racing Car driver and former Kumho V8 Touring Cars (now Super3) Series champion Justin Ruggier will share a virtual racing garage as part of a BMW Z4 GT3 two-car-entry effort from Team Redline for the iRacing Bathurst 12 Hour this weekend – in the same car is Supercars star Shane van Gisbergen with Ben Cornet and Rudy Van Buren.   The sister car features Atze Kerkhof, Lando Norris, Max Verstappen and Nick Catsburg.

Ruggier who again in 2019 will be in the Aussie Racing Cars with Western Sydney Motorsport told Velocity Magazine, “This is a huge race for us against the best racers in the world, we have been doing a lot of prep and our team has a strong line up and as you know Bathurst requires 100% concentration so speed is important though being on the lead lap at the end in a position for a podium or a win is more important to us so we will be running our own race and strategy.”

“I’m really blown away to be apart of Team Redline , you only need to look at their driver line up to know they are a force in the sim community and in real life racing. Can’t wait to get the race started!”

The race will be broadcast Live on the iRacing eSports Network from 12.30am AEDST Sunday Morning HERE: https://youtu.be/cbtCvx9jlwk
