There’s only one Tony Quinn!

Circuit owner, Repco Supercar Team owner, extremely successful businessman and race car driver.

So what do you do on Sunday when your Camaro Production Car stops on track the night before and your racing commitments are over come Sunday?

Go out on the yacht, relax at home, catch up with friends or check the toilets?

That’s where we found Tony on Sunday morning, checking out the cleaning cart and the state of the toilets, while chatting with Velocity Motorsport Magazine.

I once worked with the Australian GT Championship when Tony owned it. I had the pleasure of working at Highlands when it hosted the Australian GT Championship for the first time.

Tony and his family were there, shovels in hand spreading out road base in order to get the sign off on the track from Motorsport New Zealand.

Having built and absolutely beautiful tack and facilities, Tony fronted a press conference with someone bemoaning that they didn’t have 3 ply paper in the toilet.

Around ten years later and Tony is still taking care of the facilities.

Like I said, there’s only one Tony Quinn!
