SHANNONS INSURANCE EXTENDS PARTNERSHIP WITH SPEEDSERIES FOR 2027

SRO Motorsports Australia is delighted to announce the extension of Shannons as the official naming rights partner of the Shannons SpeedSeries into 2027.

The partnership will coincide with 20 years of commitment to the SpeedSeries since its inception for Shannons – a significant landmark in Australian motorsport partnerships.

Shannons first came on board as a title sponsor for the national racing platform in 2007, and has remained involved throughout the SpeedSeries’ multiple iterations, including Shannons Nationals and the Shannons Motorsport Australia Championships.

A long time supporter of motorsport in Australia, Shannons has supported all levels of the sport through a variety of methods, with its current title sponsorship of the Shannons SpeedSeries a key pillar of its motorsport footprint.

SRO Motorsports Australia CEO Ben McMellan was thrilled to retain Shannons Insurance for another year.

A calendar for 2027 was released earlier this year with five rounds making up the season, with rounds at Phillip Island, Sydney Motorsport Park, Queensland Raceway, Sandown Raceway and the famous Mount Panorama making up the season.

The news was announced as part of the Shannons SpeedSeries’ penultimate round of 2026 at Sydney Motorsport Park, with the final event of the year to be held at Sandown Raceway from 30 October to 1 November.
