SRO Motorsports Australia is pleased to announce a brand-new broadcast partner for the 2026 Shannons SpeedSeries, with the popular racing platform now calling FOX SPORTS Australia home.

As part of the exciting new deal, all six rounds of the Shannons SpeedSeries will be available live on Fox Sports’ streaming service, Kayo SPORTS, with highlights packages from each day available on-demand for fans who missed the event live.

In addition to the Shannons SpeedSeries, FOX SPORTS, available on Kayo SPORTS and Foxtel, has the exclusive rights to many of SRO Motorsports’ other global assets, with Australian-based fans able to watch GT World Challenge Europe, Asia and America, British GT Championship, the Suzuka 1000, Pirelli GT4 America and GT4 European Series.

The deal is a major coup for the future of the Shannons SpeedSeries, which heads to FOX SPORTS for the first time in its two decades of existence.

The move also cements FOX SPORTS as the home of motorsport in Australia, as the Shannons SpeedSeries joins top-level categories such as Formula 1®, MotoGP, Supercars and NASCAR.

Not only does Fox Sports, available on Kayo Sports and Foxtel, have a comprehensive motorsport program, but it also showcases the nation’s best overall sporting coverage, with codes such as AFL, NRL, Cricket, UFC, golf and plenty more.

In 2026, hugely established production house Rainmaker will once again hold the reigns in bringing the Shannons SpeedSeries to viewers as the official Production Partner.

Having already played a key role in the delivery of the Shannons SpeedSeries in 2024 and half of the 2025 season, Rainmaker brings significant experience to the fold and the ability to deliver strong broadcast offerings, having covered a number of national-level codes, including AFLW, speedway and hockey.

The Shannons SpeedSeries’ first event on Kayo SPORTS will be the highly anticipated opening round in Victoria, with LIQUI MOLY GT Festival Phillip Island to kick off the new partnership in style.

Forming part of the season opener will be GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS, Monochrome GT4 Australia, Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli Australasia, Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge Australia and the newly created Mustang Cup Australia.

Fans wanting to attend the event will be able to purchase their tickets via speedseries.com.au/tickets, while those unable to make it out can watch live from the comfort of their own homes on Kayo SPORTS.

LIQUI MOLY GT Festival Phillip Island kicks off the Shannons SpeedSeries at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit on 27-29 March.

Ben McMellan
SRO Motorsports Australia CEO

“Teaming up with FOX SPORTS is an incredible opportunity to grow for the Shannons SpeedSeries and I am extremely excited about the new era,” McMellan said.

“FOX SPORTS, available on Kayo SPORTS and Foxtel, has long been the home of motorsport in this country and their reach to Australian audiences alone is likely to have a positive effect on our product.

“With the direction the world is heading in terms of consuming live sport through digital assets, Kayo SPORTS’user-friendly interface, high-quality content and large audience makes it one of the best apps in Australia, and it’s exciting knowing the Shannons SpeedSeries will be there too.

“To have a range of SRO Motorsports events featuring on FOX SPORTS, available on Kayo SPORTS and Foxtel, allows Aussie fans to enjoy a centralised location for the best GT racing in the world.

“I’d like to thank the Seven Network for their previous support of the Shannons SpeedSeries, and look forward to building a new relationship with the team at Kayo SPORTS and Foxtel for the years to come.”

Adam Howarth
Foxtel Group Executive Director – Commercial Sport

“Our business is the biggest investor is sport in this country, outside of Government, and anytime we get the opportunity to support home grown events, we run at it,” Howarth said.

“Motorsports is one of our key pillars so to be able to add a series with such fantastic local presence builds on our local investment.

“The addition of the series adds to our already unrivalled offering, which includes Formula 1®, Supercars, MotoGP, and plenty more – all in the one place as part of our 50 plus sports offering.”
