The dynamic Australian Cross Kart (AusXKart) Championship is set to tear up Pheasant Wood next weekend, when it visits the venue for Round 4 of the 2025 season.
Uniquely, AusXKarts are able to race on both gravel and tarmac surfaces, and this year’s championship consists of a variety of timed autocross (dirt), timed rallycross (mixture of dirt and tarmac) and wheel-to-wheel (tarmac) races.

The AusXKarts are powered by motorcycle engines. Karts in the CK1 class are powered by either 600cc Suzuki GSXR or 850cc Yamaha MT09 engines, while karts in the CK2 class are propelled by Suzuki GSXR engines ranging from 750 to 1,000cc.
On Saturday (30 August), the AusXKarts will run as part of Pheasant Wood’s Track Day (with their sessions interspersed in between sessions for cars), while on Sunday (31 August), the AusXKarts will race in wheel-to-wheel combat with qualifying and four races across the day
After the first three rounds, rally ace Arron Windus leads the CK1 standings ahead of Conor Duff and Dale Anderson, while James Keogh heads the CK2 points from Matt Healy and Beau Yates.
The AusXKarts will be supported by Round 2 of the Pheasant Wood Winter Sprints, open to cars from 1976 to 2022 with a full or half cage and an engine capacity up to 4,100cc.
Spectator entry for Round 4 of the AusXKarts is $20 for Sunday, with tickets available at the gate.
