#38 Brodie Kostecki
Qualifying Race 3: 3rd
Race 3: 4th
“Pretty up and down opening weekend for myself and everyone at Shell V-Power Racing Team,” Kostecki said.
“We started off pretty good on Friday and qualified 4th, but didn’t quite have the race pace and fell back a few spots,” Kostecki said.
“The main thing is we had a good look overnight and tuned up the Shell V-Power Mustangs and we came back on the Sunday with both cars in the Top 10 shootout. I was just short of a podium, but yeah just slowly ticking away and I’m looking forward to going to the Grand Prix. ”
#17 Will Davison
Qualifying Race 3: 7th
Race 3: 9th
“A much more positive day today, after a testing weekend. Really late nights for the crew, but we’re all starting to find our feet working together,” Davison said.
“Starting to make inroads with the car and the very different set up philosophy that I’m used to. Both in the Top 10 today, which is a positive sign and we are only going to get stronger.”
“The race was okay, I think we probably thought the sun would be out for a bit more, probably a bit too conservative and had a little bit too much understeer in the race.”
“When the rain came we were really strong in those damp conditions and I was able to fight back to ninth, which was alot of fun. But all and all, much more promising day and there’s lots more to come.”
