15-year-old Perth racer Nicolas Stati will continue his F4 program with Australian-based International Formula 4 team AGI Sport in the relaunch of Australian F4 Championship in 2024.
Nicolas has enjoyed success racing karts in the Asian based Global ROK Cup Series in both Cadets and Junior categories which allowed him to race with the factory Energy Corse Team in multiple World Championship Superfinals as well as other top level karting events across Italy.

Stati kicked off his car racing program at the Sepang F1 Circuit in November 2023 with AGI Sport. Competing in the last two rounds of the SE Asian F4 Championship, Stati secured 5th in the rookie standings which included an outright win in the penultimate race of the championship.
Come January 2024, Stati continued with AGI Sport in their first foray into the UAE F4 Championship against the best junior single seater teams and drivers from Europe and the Middle East.
Nicolas Stati: “I’m really excited to continue working with AGI Sport in the return of the Australian Formula 4 Championship this year. I started my car racing journey in the last two rounds of the Asian F4 late last year with AGI and after racing in the UAE F4 series earlier this year I’m looking forward to racing with the team in Australia.”
Adam Gotch / Team Principal: “We’re super excited to continue working with Nicolas and support his transition into the Formula 4 category. Nico turned 15 last November so we were able to sneak in a few F4 races in Asia with him before Christmas. We then took him to the Middle East where he competed in the toughest of all F4 series, the UAE F4 Championship. Nicolas worked really well alongside our second year F4 driver Jack Beeton and will be aiming to put all of that hard work over the off season into his first car racing campaign in Australia this year.”

The re-launch of Formula 4 in Australia gives young drivers a way to compete and contest in an FIA-certified open wheel category in Australia, with four rounds in the country and a season finale at Sepang International Circuit, a Category 1 former Formula 1 track. This also allows racers the chance to earn FIA super license points and have an even easier way to transition to competition overseas in a most cost-effective manner, with the same Tatuus F4 T421 GEN2 used internationally.

Davide De Gobbi: “It is great to see Nicolas continue his Formula 4 career with AGI Sport after seeing him compete in our Formula 4 South East Asia and UAE series throughout December, January and February. We look forward to seeing the Tatuus F4 T421 GEN2 take to the track in Australia and let the country’s next generation of talent make the next step in the FIA ladder at home.”
