Image Racing’s Jordan Boys has hit the track at Winton today for his first wildcard test alongside Erebus Motorsport’s Academy.
It is the first time Boys has driven a Supercar since his final Super2 race victory at last year’s Bathurst 1000.
It is also the first time the Erebus Commodore has been on track since last year after the team conducted an evaluation day with Image Racing drivers Reef McCarthy and Jaylyn Robotham in October.
With Winton his home track, the 24-year-old is feeling confident about his maiden solo start after setting fast lap times and seeing positive developments across the day.
The Albury-racer was accompanied by Erebus drivers Will Brown and Brodie Kostecki who undertook their own test programs next door as part of their second test of the season.
Boys will return to Winton in the #49 Commodore for his debut wildcard appearance at the Winton SuperSprint next weekend, May 21-22.
