VIDEO: INSIDE KELLY RACING’S ROAD TRIP COACH

Kelly Racing has been on the road for over three weeks now. Since leaving Victoria the team has been to the Kelly family farm near Mildura in NSW, then to Sydney Motorsport Park for Round Four of the Championship and currently the team is based on the Gold Coast preparing for the next Supercars event in Darwin.

Rather than relying on flights, the team is traveling by road in the Kelly Racing coach. The coach has everything needed to road trip up the east coast of Australia comfortably, including a shower, toilet, fridge and André Heimgartner’s racing simulator and fitness equipment!

After leaving NSW, the team had compulsory COVID tests on arrival to Queensland and is required to be in the state for fourteen days before moving into the Northern Territory. The team will hit the road again later this week before crossing into the NT on the fourth of August, receiving another COVID test before entering. 

The team will be stopping off at a number of tourism locations during the road trip to Darwin. While the team is working hard away from their loved ones, it’s important to enjoy the journey as much as possible and make the most of the situation so Captain Todd Kelly will be making a few stop-offs along the way.
