HUNGRORING WEATHER MAY PLAY A BIG ROLE IN GP
Weather forecast for Hungary and the Hungaroring area suggests the next three days will be partly cloudy with a high chance of rain across each of the three days. Rain showers have been predicted throughout Friday, with the possibility of thunderstorms likely during F1 qualifying and the race on Sunday.
With passing difficult on the Hungaroring circuit difficult at the best of times, wet weather makes qualifying even more important.
Australia has four drivers vying for pole honours in Formula 3 qualifying on Friday evening (local time), including championship leader Oscar Piastri, Alex Peroni, Jack Doohan and Calan Williams.
Pole position will bring an even greater advantage if the rain does arrive, which means qualifying could be the most spectacular session that we have seen so far.
Along with Aussie Daniel Ricciardo on track we have 1.5 drivers in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup in Jordan Love and Kiwi (the half we’ll claim) Jaxon Evans.
