Crowds will only be allowed in the Sydney Motorsport Park grandstand as part of providing a COVID-safe Truck Assist Sydney SuperSprint this weekend.

The possibility of general admission tickets as well as park-and-view had initially been on the table, as fans return to be trackside for the first time since the shutdown period.

Grandstand tickets were released for sale recently.

Following consultation with, and recommendations from, health authorities given the current COVID situation, the decision has been made to release no additional tickets to the original offering.

“Supercars wishes to inform fans that no additional seating or admission will be offered for this weekend’s Truck Assist Sydney SuperSprint,” said a Supercars spokesperson.

“We understand that fans may be disappointed that additional ticketing options are not available, but limited grandstand seats are still available for Sunday’s action, only through Ticketek.

“All of the action will be available to watch ad-free on Fox Sports and Kayo, with highlights on Network 10.”

The Truck Assist Sydney SuperSprint will be headlined by three Supercars races; one on Saturday night and a Sunday double dose.
