POLL: SHOULD SUPERCARS CONTINUE IN 2020?

It seems to be getting harder and harder to run any sports in Australia with a second wave of the COVID-19 crisis now spreading throughout the southern states, Victoria is leading the worrying trend of more and more positive test results but thats now rolling into New South Wales.

All states and territories have banned anyone who has been in VIC to enter their states, and as of today NSW has two hotspots that has seen the likes of QLD ban persons from Liverpool & Campbelltown.  Its just 10km away from Sydney Motorsport Park where all the Supercars teams are this weekend.

There are numerous calls from Queensland and South Australia locals to re-close their borders, and the Government seems to be listening to their constituents.

The NRL has also said today they are considering moving their whole competition to Queensland, the AFL has already moved all teams out of Victoria.

So with all of this in mind, and such a fluid volatile situation, do you think Supercars are better off to go into a hibernation for the balance of 2020, re-start in 2021?  Its been suggested by many in the industry maybe it needs to happen.

Its a tough world to live in, like many we here at Velocity Magazine rely upon the Motorsport Industry for our life line.

What do you think, tell us below?
