POLL: WHAT DID YOU THINK OF THE SUPERCARS CHANGED RACE FORMAT?

In today’s SIMWORX POLL we want to know what you thought of the changed format to the Supercars races used at Sydney Motorsport Park on the weekend?

It seems its taken a global pandemic to get the Supercars to change their race format for the SuperSprint races, less laps, very limited data, no fuel stops, two rattle guns only amongst other changes all due to both COVID-19 and a very real need to reduce costs.

In the post race conferences and during the event the drivers seemed to be happy with the changes, Scott Mclaughlin commented in a closed media conference, Supercars is “going the right way” with recent changes to the category, but believes more can be done to mix up strategy and improve the quality of racing.

Along with the changes the limited tyre allocation and the high degradation at SSMP played a big part in the racing, especially both races on Sunday.

The combination of tyre limits, mixed strategy, and the typically high degradation Sydney Motorsport Park nearly resulted in three different winners.  Tell us what you thought of the changes in the Poll below.
