ANDRE HEIMGARTNER’S SIM TV UPGRADES & PC TECH TALK

Kelly Racing drivers Rick Kelly and André Heimgartner are constantly upgrading their gear to go quicker on the race track and the virtual Eseries world is no different! After seeing how impressive Rick’s upgraded LG 4K OLED ThinQ TVs were, André wanted the same for his rig and thanks to LG he was able to upgrade. 

André added three LG 55-inch 4K OLED ThinQ TVs to his already impressive simulator setup. While the LG TVs are not a dedicated gaming monitor, they are an extremely versatile television with settings for home theatre and gaming. The TVs also have G-Sync variable refresh rate allowing the performance of the television to be synced perfectly to the gaming computer’s performance to provide the best possible image. 

In this video, André sets up his new LG screens and talks through some of the specs of the TVs and his Aftershock gaming computer to provide an insight into what equipment is required to be as competitive as possible in the gaming world.
