Fond memories of his time racing in Europe sees Penrite Racing’s Anton De Pasquale return to a track where he has tasted success when the BP Supercars All Stars Eseries makes its debut tomorrow night at Spa in Belgium.

The half-way point of the series sees the Supercars field head to the famed Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, current home of the Formula One Belgian Grand Prix and the location of one of De Pasquale’s victory’s in 2014 when he went on to win the Formula Renault 1.6 series on debut.

De Pasquale won 11 of the 15 races in his first season in 2014, including a win and two second places at Spa.

He is looking forward to returning to the picturesque track, famous for its countryside feel.

“I was competing in the Formula Renault 1.6 series back then with Lechner Racing and I had a really good season,” he said.

“I remember finishing second twice on my first weekend at Spa, so I felt really comfortable. The second time there a few months later I got pole and a win, so it’s a track that holds some good memories for me.

“It’s one of the coolest tracks in the world with iconic corners. My favourite part of the track is Pouhon. It’s a downhill straight where you are going really fast. It’s a double apex left hander and really challenging so it’s so cool to challenge yourself and push the limits.

‘’There’s a lot of left to right switch backs which our Supercars don’t really like and it’s easy to exceed the track limits and go off the track in places, so it will be really interesting to see how the Supercars do on the track. I’m looking forward to the challenge.”

De Pasquale heads into Round 5 in sixth place on the Championship ladder with two wins and five poles.

Teammate David Reynolds heads into this week’s round in 21st place with a best placed fifth in Round three at Bathurst.

In a change to the original calendar, this week’s eSeries round has moved to a three-race single track format with a Top Ten Shootout.

Qualifying will be broadcast exclusively on Fox Sports 506 tonight from 6pm AEST, with the races broadcast live from 7pm on Fox Sports, Kayo, 10 Play, Sky Sports (NZ) and Facebook.

10 Bold will also show a full replay on Saturday afternoon from 1:00pm – 3:00pm.
