DECLAN FRASER TO DRIVE TCR VOLKSWAGEN AT ALBERT PARK

Declan Fraser has taken the leap into TCR competition and will drive a Volkswagen Golf GTI for Milldun Motorsport.

Fraser, a former race winner in the competitive Toyota 86 Racing Series, will take the wheel the ex-Jason Bright Golf that scored two victories in the TCR Australia Series last year.

Milldun Motorsport has taken over the running of the Volkswagen for the 2020 season, with Fraser locked in to compete in the carsales TCR Asia Pacific Cup, while he works on finding deals that will secure him more rounds through the year.

The team still plans to run the two Subaru WRX STIs this year, although they will not be at the Grand Prix event this weekend.

Track action for the TCR Asia Pacific Cup starts on Thursday with two practice sessions and qualifying.
