Wall Racing has its full fleet of four Honda Civic Type R TCR cars ready to race.
The Sydney-based team started the season with two cars, and soon added two more, however, after the John Martin example was damaged at Phillip Island in a heavy incident, the team has since campaigned three cars for a variety of drivers.
For the final round at The Bend Motorsport Park in three weeks time, Wall Racing has completed the rebuild of Martin’s original Type R, and he will step back into that at the South Australian circuit.
Regular driver Tony D’Alberto will remain in his new car as he fights for second place in the title, while the other two cars are available, but as yet, no drivers locked in.
The #38 machine has been driven by a variety of different drivers, including Jordan Cox, Jordan Michels, Tim Brook and recently Argentina Nestor Girolami who dominated the Sandown round.
Wall says that one, or possibly both of the other two cars could compete at The Bend, if the right deals fall into place.
“We have four cars able to run now, which is what we are capable and comfortable of doing,” said Wall.
“Tony and John are obviously locked in, and we’re working on getting one, possibly two more for The Bend.
“We’ve had a variety of drivers sample the extra Hondas over the past few rounds and they’ve proved to be more than competitive, especially with Nestor who won everything at Sandown.”
The Bend will conclude the first season of the carsales TCR Australia Series, which will be held on November 15-17.
