Half Price Parts Velocity Magazine Media Driver Tyler Everingham is back on track this weekend in the Dunlop Super2 series for the Watpac Supercars Townsville 400, we caught up with Tyler to get his thoughts on a big weekend of racing.

“I’m Excited to be in Townsville, I have never raced here before so this will be another new challenge for me. Whilst the season start has been difficult I am continuing to improve and gain more confidence in the car,” he told Velocity Magazine.

The Super2 series is a real feature at the Reid Park circuit with close racing up and down the field, its the second of 3 street circuit outings for the second tier series.  Its also back to back race meetings with the Super2 and Super3 on the Supercars undercard at Queensland Raceway later this month.

“Definitely looking forward to getting back in the car again after a 2 month gap. There were definite positives from Barbagallo with quick times posted in practice and qualifying 8th for Sunday’s race.”

“I am heading into this round with no expectations but will be aiming to build on the results from the last round and obviously giving 100% commitment,” said Everingham.

The Super2 cars hit the track at 10.00am on Friday morning for the first of two 40 minute practice sessions.
