AUDIO REPORT MATT CAMPBELLS CRAZY WEEKEND

We bet that had you told Matt Campbell what we are about to write about below, a few years ago he’d be saying “yeah right”.  After winning Australia’s Carrera Cup Championship in 2016 Campbell has gone on to add some big race wins to his resume, like Le Mans in his first ever run there, like at Spa and Sebring and this year the Bathurst 12 Hour event, the one he as really wanted!

But its not about that, it about the past 72 odd hours, last weekend just gone Matt was racing in the #Rd3 BLANCPAIN GT SERIES #Endurance at Circuit Paul Ricard ?? where they finished 5th overall (Matt talks about this in his audio below) – the race finished at 10pm local time, then he and his team mates (and almost the whole grid of drivers) flew in private jets (there’s and airport right next to the Paul Ricard circuit) direct to Le Mans Airport – where he hopped in another Porsche with the Dempsey-Proton crew (the team he won last years GTE AM Le Mans class with) tested for 8 hours on the amazing Le Mans circuit (we know as we Velocity Mag were there last year!) and now he has sent his audio report direct to us from the USA where he is racing in the Blancpain GT World Challenge America series at Sonoma Raceway, a doubleheader event, featuring a full-field of exceptional GT3 machinery!
