As rain interrupted a plausible debut race win at the first round in Oschersleben, Aidan enters the second round of the ADAC GT Masters confident of retrieving a good result.

Rounding out the race in fifth overall and third in the Junior Trophy, the Schütz Motorsport team looked strong in the dry conditions, running at the front of the pack before the wet weather wreaked havoc among the field.

This weekend, GT Masters heads to Autodrom Most [Czech Republic] for the second round of the championship.

Schütz Motorsport has returned to the series after a years’ absence, with Aidan lining up alongside Marvin Dienst, running a Mercedes AMG GT3.

Embarking on just his second ever European race, Aidan – alongside his teammate – currently sits eighth in the championship standings, just 24 points adrift of the lead.

“The second round of ADAC in Most is a good opportunity and also a new challenge.

“It is an opportunity to apply the learnings from the opening round in Oschersleben and improve as a team. We had a promising start to the season and need to continue to work hard on executing our best to continue to score strong points finishes.

“It will be a new challenge to learn the track in Most. The conditions will also be a test of our ability to extract performance from the car in variable conditions. I’m excited for the weekend and feel more confident and prepared from my experience in the opening round. Hopefully, we can continue to develop and score strong results.”
