Molly Taylor will launch her circuit-racing career with the backing of Castrol at the Sydney Motorsport Park TCR event this weekend.

Castrol’s partnership, in isolation at the Sydney event, will see a strong brand presence for the round having recently announced support for Alex Rullo in his #62 Castrol Racing Holden Astra TCR.

The association with Molly Taylor reinforces Castrol as one of the strongest supporters of Australian Motorsport.

The #6 Castrol Racing Subaru WRX STI TCR undertook its second test day of the year today at Winton having completed its first shake down last week.

“It’s fantastic to have Castrol onboard and supporting me in my first circuit race this weekend at Sydney Motorsport Park for the first TCR Australia race,” said Molly Taylor.

“Kelly Racing have a long history with Castrol so it’s really positive to have them come into TCR with myself and Alex as well. It’s great to have another strong brand in TCR and hopefully we’ll do them proud.

“I’m really glad to have been given the opportunity to continue developing my circuit racing skills today here at Winton Raceway for my second test day with the team. There was a lot to take onboard after the first one, and it’s been great to continue the learning curve today.”
