AUDIO – MATT CAMPBELL AND DEMPSEY-PROTON WIN IN SHANGHAI

Aussie Matt Campbell has continued his run of winning endurance races as a Porsche Young Professional.  Last weekend Campbell along with his Dempsey-Proton team mates of Christian Reid and Julian Andlauer won their GTE-AM class at the WEC 6 Hours of Shanghai.

The weather played a big part in the weekend with torrential rain halting the race after the first 20 minutes were run under the safety car.

Earlier in the weekend the Dempsey-Proton cars were part of a continued stewards hearing from the Fuji 6Hour event, and decision was handed down that penalised both cars, to the extent of removing all points scored since the beginning of the 2018-19 super season – you can read the full decision on the WEC website here.

Dempsey-Proton Racing have appealed the decision.  Shanghai is the last WEC event for 2018.
