Another fine and warm day here at Monza.

The team and I had another great day today, and the car felt great throughout FP1. Friday is official practice which means that only tyres allocated for the championship can be used, as such pretty much all the field would have been on similar good used tyres. I managed P3 with a 1:46.7, and only one tenth off P1! Once again I was really pleased to also end up with the quickest time in sector 1

In FP2 we completed a full race run in the afternoon which went well. I was totally in my own on the circuit without any tow, but I was able to put in consistent laps with old tyres which showed us that the car also has quite good race pace. This was the focus of this session and allows us to check the balance of the car as we get into race distance on the tyres.

Time to rest now, and really looking forward to Qualifying and Race 1 tomorrow.
