SCT Motorsport and Triple Eight Racing Engineering have announced Jackson Walls as the driver of their full time Supercar being run by the team in 2026.

  • Twenty two year old Walls has been driving competitively in both Australian and New Zealand open wheel and GT racing series since the age of fifteen.
  • 2025 saw Jackson Walls, in his first season in the Dunlop Super2 Series, secure pole position and a maiden race win at Queensland Raceway.
  • Walls has been competing in the Dunlop Super2 Series with Triple Eight Race Engineering in the Objective Racing Holden ZB Commodore.

SCT Motorsport and Triple Eight Race Engineering have promoted from within, announcing current Dunlop Super2 Series driver and race winner Jackson Walls as the driver of their full time Supercar being run by the team in 2026.

Walls is one of a wave of current Dunlop Super2 Series drivers who are ready to take the leap into main game racing and compete full time in the Supercars Championship.

The highlight of Walls’ season in Dunlop Super2 came at Queensland Raceway where he qualified fastest for race two of the weekend, then led from start to finish taking the chequered flag ahead of Nash Morris, Lochie Dalton and Rylan Gray, who have all driven as a part of various Supercars Enduro Cup pairings in 2025.

SCT Motorsport and Triple Eight have taken the opportunity to put another promising young driver into the Gen3 car as the sport somewhat undergoes a changing of the guard following recent high profile retirements, and as rookie and younger drivers regularly challenge for Top Ten Shootout spots, podiums and race wins in season 2025.

The last driver Triple Eight promoted internally to a full time Supercars drive was now twenty three year old Broc Feeney, who in 2025 has secured fourteen pole positions, twelve race wins and won  the inaugural Sprint Cup.

The SCT Motorsport entry driven by Walls will line up alongside the two Red Bull Ampol Racing entries driven by current Supercars Championship leader Broc Feeney and reigning series Champion Will Brown in a three car program being run by Triple Eight next season.

Andrew Jones, Head of Motorsport Programs, SCT Logistics:
“There is a real movement happening at the moment within Supercars around the progression of exciting young talent, the racing they are delivering is exceptional – we want to be a part of it and absolutely believe that Jackson will deliver on all fronts for SCT Motorsport.”

“Jackson will not only have the full support of everyone within SCT Motorsport, but also the entire Triple Eight organisation who have an amazing record of providing raw talent with the right tools and guidance to produce world class racing drivers.”

“This is a genuinely exciting period of change for this program, everything that has been implemented is with the pursuit of success in mind and having the right driver forms a key part of that.”

Jamie Whincup, Managing Director, Triple Eight Race Engineering:
“We are thrilled to announce another young talent to the Supercars grid in 2026. This year, we’ve been working closely with Jackson in our Super 2 program, and it’s always nice to recruit from within our ranks.”

“Jackson has made significant strides in finessing these unique cars, and while we recognize there’s still a long journey to perfection, we are fully committed to the challenge and eagerly look forward to the road ahead.”

Jackson Walls, SCT Motorsport Driver, Triple Eight Race Engineering:
“I am super excited for the opportunity with SCT Motorsport and Triple Eight and I am very grateful for the support of Pete (Smith), Andrew (Jones) and Jamie (Whincup) for their faith in me to perform”.

“Already being part of the Triple Eight team is a huge advantage. I’ve spent time in the Triple Eight factory this year and seen everyone’s commitment to winning races firsthand. My rookie year in Super2 has been a solid introduction to driving a Supercar and our recent race and round win at Queensland Raceway was good step in building confidence.”

“I really can’t wait for the 2026 season to start and to get behind the wheel of the Supercar.”
