Innovation Race Cars is now the exclusive seller of the newly renamed IRC GT car, designed by  highly regarded engineering outfit PACE Innovations.

IRC has been formed by business partners Rob Woods and Danny Stutterd. Woods founded the extremely successful TekworkX Motorsport team, for which Stutterd currently drives in Porsche Paynter Dixon Carrera Cup Australia. The pair also combine for over 50 years of experience in business management.

Woods has created and continues to manage a wide variety of businesses, with focus in construction, before he set up his Gold Coast based Motorsport team in 2021. Stutterd is a highly successful property development manager, responsible for some of Australia’s biggest companies in the sector.

The IRC GT car has already been produced and sold to multiple competitors around Australia since the first chassis was completed in March this year. TekworkX Motorsport recently contested Chassis #003 at The Bend Motorsport Park, where Max Vidau and Stutterd steered the car to pole position and a race win in the MARC Cars Australia Championship.

Featuring an LS3 engine producing 550 horsepower, a striking front splitter and rear wing, the IRC GT is a natural challenger to GT3 lap records around the country. The car is eligible to compete in a wide array of competitions across Australia and the world.

Interest in the car has already been high, with more chassis sold in recent weeks, while a test day for prospective competitors is being held later this year. Further enquiries can reach out at

Danny Stutterd, IRC Founder
“We saw an opportunity with an exceptional concept.

An Australian made race car that takes on the world’s best, with high performance at a fraction of the price and running cost of others. It made perfect sense and certainly has a place in the race car world.

After getting to drive the IRC GT, it made even more sense to take this opportunity.”

Rob Woods, IRC Co-Founder
“Together with Danny we share an exceptional passion for motor racing.

“That passion drove us into this partnership, and the IRC GT was a logical step for us to make our mark with Innovation Race Cars. The blend of power and downforce makes it an exceptional car and it’s versatile enough to be enjoyed by both professional and pro-am drivers.

“We’re both incredibly excited for the future of this car in Australian and global motorsport.”

Paul Ceprnich, PACE Innovations Technical Director
“We are ecstatic to have IRC look after the marketing, sales, and support of this new car as this will allow us to focus on what we do best, and that is to design and build race cars.

“The sales and distribution business is not something we want to do, so we are very happy to team up with Danny and Rob.

“Together we are hoping to grow both of our brands.”
