KYLE EVANS TO DRIVE FOR GILMOUR/KCK RACING IN AUS FORMULA OPEN FINAL RND

Velocity Motorsport Magazine ex-Media Driver whom we have supported for a few years now has had some exciting news he’s shared with us this week, the young driver is about to embark on probably the most breathtaking drive of his young career.

Kyle Evans (19) from Kyle Evans Motorsport has been invited to Drive for Gilmour Racing/KCK Racing for Round 6 of the Australian Formula Open being held at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit on Friday 24 to Sunday 26 November 2023.  The race car is a 2011 Dallara Formula 3.  The car is the current Championship winner and will be running the number 1 on the nose of car. Along with the amazing support of KCK Lubricants.

Kyle conducted some testing as a Birthday present at a private practice day at Morgan Park Raceway, Warwick Qld in June this year with KCK Racing in the Dallara F3.  Matthew Gilmour and Chris Gilmour were extremely impressed with Kyle’s ability to drive their three race cars on the day which not only inluded the 2011 Dallara Formula 3 but also a Formula Ford along with an  Aussie Racing Car, Kyle had the opportunity to try very different driving techniques required for the very different cars.

Kyle is also in the process of having an Aussie Racing Car purpose built to compete in the pocket rocket support category that runs alongside the Supercars for 2024.
