ACDELCO ALL MAKES AUTO PARTS BACKS TGRA 86 SERIES AWARD WINNER

ACDelco, the trusted name in automotive all models parts and servicing, has reaffirmed its support of Jarrod Hughes in the Toyota 86 Series as he takes to the track this weekend in Townsville for the start of the new season.

The ACDelco partnership has been in place over recent years and culminated in a highly successful 2022, which saw the young Brisbane racer take out the series Kaizen award for continual improvement throughout the season.

To help get Jarrod to rounds in comfort and style, the team has the use of a Chevrolet Silverado LTZ Premium.  With a 4.5 tonne tow rating, a cavernous interior and oodles of space in the tray, it’s proving to be the perfect truck to get to the race and home again.

“The Silverado is absolutely unreal, I couldn’t ask for a better support vehicle.  It can carry as many as five of us with room to spare, the powerful 6.2-litre EcoTech3 V8 engine eats up the kilometres when driving long distance and you hardly even notice you’re towing a fully laden trailer complete with a race car.

In addition to Townsville, the TGRA 86 Series features race meetings at Sydney Motorsport Park, The Bend and Sandown, before finishing at Bathurst in October.
