The Shell V-Power Racing Team is excited to launch their 2022 Repco Supercars Championship campaign and the team’s Ford Mustang GTs of Anton De Pasquale and Will Davison, which will both carry the iconic Shell V-Power colours, a true fan favourite, as reflected with the Best Presented Team award presented in 2021, and as also voted by Supercars supporters and the general public.

“We’re excited to not only launch our 2022 Repco Supercars Championship season but also get back on the road to see our long-term and new partners, as well as our incredible supporters across Australia and New Zealand,” said Chairman Emeritus and co-owner of Dick Johnson Racing, Dr Ryan Story.

“In 2021, Anton and Will were fantastic for the Shell V-Power Racing Team, with their strong results on track throughout the year. The consistency and stability within team during the summer break instils great confidence that they will continue to perform at the top of their game throughout the entire 2022 season.”

Dick Johnson Racing co-owner and Australian Motorsport and Supercars Hall of Famer Dick Johnson AM said he is excited to watch Anton and Will contend for both the Drivers and Teams Championship in 2022.

“Anton and Will were exceptional in their first season with the team and I’m eager to see them back on track this year doing what they do best,” Johnson said.

Anton De Pasquale, driver of the No.11 Shell V-Power Racing Team Ford Mustang said he is optimistic about the 2022 Championship. “I’ve been with the team for a full season now and having the same crew behind me this year means I can continue to build on the momentum we had at the end of last year and continue to deliver results for the team, our partners and fans.”

Will Davison, the driver of the iconic No.17 Shell V-Power Mustang said he is delighted to be heading into this season with the same performance staff as last season. “Having continuity with the same crew supporting me from last season builds a great base for season 2022.

“Finishing fourth in the Driver’s Championship last year has made me hungrier to finish higher again in 2022.”

Executive General Manager Consumer, Viva Energy Australia Megan Foster, said, “The Shell V-Power Racing Team is Australia’s favourite race team, and we are proud to support Anton, Will and the entire crew.

“Our association with Dick Johnson Racing has a strong legacy and we are excited to see the team contend for both the Drivers and Teams Championships in the 2022 Championship.”

The team have also launched a hashtag that fans can use on social media to engage with the team and show their support for 2022 – #fueltheracingfeeling – bringing together what the team does best for our partner group and supporters.

The Shell V-Power Racing Team will be on-track for Round 1 of the Championship at Sydney Motorsport Park 4-6 March.
