Dalton Ellery has taken the bull by the horns with his racing this year and has entered in this weekends TA2 event at Queensland Raceway.

He’ll be driving a car leased from Harris Racing and run by Beric Lynton from Bruce Lynton BM and JLR Service centre on the Gold Coast.

“Beric and I spoke about what steppingstones were on offer to progress my driving and we came up with TA2 as the next feasible option. They are real race car with a H patten gearstick, limited aero dynamics big engine and great brakes” Ellery states.

“It’s going to get my attention in the horsepower area for sure” he also went onto say.

Team leader Beric Lynton said “I want to help Dalton in any way possible and we’ll run this car for him to evaluate what we’re going to do next year. TA2 is a great way to teach some of these young kids how to race without downforce and all the trick stuff like ABS. It’ll make him a better driver for sure”.

Ellery partnered with his older brother and father in this years Bathurst 6 Hour in a BMW M3 in the outright class. He’s also raced at selected rounds of the Queensland Production Car Series.
