SNOW AT MOUNT PANORAMA BATHURST

Whilst the Supercars are racing in Darwin in 29C, snow has been falling at Mount Panorama Bathurst overnight and this morning, just 8 weeks before the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 event.

The NSW SES Bathurst Unit posted the images on their Facebook page this morning:

⚠️❄️ DRIVE TO CONDITIONS ❄️😜

There has been significant snow falls around Bathurst making the road very slippery.

– Slow down

– Increase your stopping distance from the car in front

– Aviod going off road unless in a 4wd vehicle

Temperatures are predicted on the mountain to plummet to -3C this week with frost expected most days.
