From tonight, the driver who scores the most points from each round of the BP Supercars All Stars Eseries will receive the ARMOR ALL Round Winner title.

The ARMOR ALL Round Winner will receive a $1000 prize each week. The money will be a donation to the driver’s charity of choice.

It is an extension of ARMOR ALL’s support of Supercars’ Eseries. Winners of the pole position award in the online racing series already receive the ARMOR ALL ULTRA Pole Position award for each race.

Tonight, the ARMOR ALL Round Winner will go to whichever driver of the 26 on the grid collects the most points from four races, two at Silverstone (UK) and two at Barcelona (Spain).

“ARMOR ALL car care products stand for high quality and performance, just like Supercars and we are really excited to see racing come to life for viewers at home” Marianne Arenas, Head of Energizer ANZ marketing said.

“The ARMOR ALL brand, has a long and proud history in motorsport and the Supercars ARMOR ALL Round Winner award is a great initiative for the Eseries.”

“There’s a number of charities out there doing great things in the community at a time when many people are doing it tough, so we are very proud to be able to contribute to their efforts in some way through this award.”

ARMOR ALL is one of the longest serving major sponsors of Supercars, after becoming the Official Car Care Products Sponsor in 2005. The company has also sponsored the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship Pole Position Award for 17 years.

Since then prize money exceeding $1 million has been awarded through ARMOR ALL Qualifying, ARMOR ALL Pole Position Awards, ARMOR ALL Top 10 Shootouts and ARMOR ALL Races for the Grid.

Fans from around the world will be watching on tonight as Formula 1 superstar Max Verstappen takes to the iRacing virtual grid as a wildcard, trying to end two-time defending Supercars Champion Scott McLaughlin’s run of form.

McLaughlin won two out of three races in last week’s opening round of the BP Supercars All Stars Eseries, although the two ARMOR ALL ULTRA Pole Positions were won by youngster Anton De Pasquale.

Qualifying will begin at 6:00pm AEST, will be broadcast exclusively on Fox Sports 506 before racing begins at 7:00pm.

From 7:00pm as was the case for Round One, the races will be broadcast live on Fox Sports 506, Kayo, Sky Sports (NZ) and 10 Play. Online fans can watch races via Supercars Facebook Page and Supercars’ Teams Facebook Pages and Red Bull TV.  PLUS right here on Velocity Magazine.
