Two of Supercars youngest drivers, rookie teammates Jake Kostecki and Zane Goddard, say they won’t be giving any quarter to rivals when racing begins on Wednesday night in the BP Supercars All Stars Series.

They only have seven races between them on the track, however the pair that shares the #34 Matt Stone Racing Commodore in the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship have years of experience in online racing, unlike several former Supercars Champions including Jamie Whincup and Rick Kelly.

While they aren’t getting carried away, both 20-year-old’s say they’re confident heading into the opening round of racing which will be held on the virtual Phillip Island and Monza, Italy circuits.

Both based on the Gold Coast, Kostecki and Goddard will race in separate virtual Commodores on Wednesday night, lining up against the other 23 Championship drivers.

Goddard, who raced in the Formula Renault Eurocup in 2017, says he would race online every week while he lived in London, while Kostecki has used his simulator for training during his development into a full-time Supercars driver.

Racing begins tomorrow night with the opening round of the BP Supercars All Stars Series to be broadcast live from 7pm-9pm AEST on Fox Sports, Kayo, TEN Play, Sky Sports (NZ), Supercars Twitch and Supercars Facebook pages – PLUS Velocity Magazines website.
