PROMAXX NEW NAMING RIGHTS PARTNER FOR TA2 MUSCLE CAR SERIES

The TA2 Muscle Car Series will step up a level in 2020 following the announcement of a new naming rights partnership with PROMAXX Performance Exhaust.

PROMAXX Performance Exhausts is managed by the Australian arm of Steve Petty Motorsports (SPM), manufacturers of the high-quality stainless-steel PROMAXX Performance Exhaust system specially designed for V8 performance cars such as Mustang, Camaro, Commodore, Dodge Ram and Jeep style SUVs.

PROMAXX Performance Exhaust will be manufactured and distributed under the direction of Anthony Bright, Director, Owner and Partner of Steve Petty Motorsports AU. Pty, Ltd. from their factory in Lilydale Victoria. Their website can be found at www.drivespm.com.au. 

Petty has a long history of driving and team ownership in North American racing, winning multiple Championships and awards. Starting in the Formula Russell series in 1986 before moving into Indy Lights, SCCA GT-1, Trans Am, ASA, IMSA, North American Touring Car Champion, NASCAR’s Featherlite Southwest Tour and K&N Pro Series west. 

The PROMAXX Performance Exhaust TA2 Muscle Car Series will cover 6 rounds over 4 eastern states in 2020. Aaron Seton won the title last in the Castrol Harris Racing Ford Mustang, after a year-long battle with George Miedecke and Ashley Jarvis, while 17-year old Lismore school student Nathan Herne served notice that he will be the one to watch this year.

The PROMAXX Performance Exhaust TA2 Muscle Car Series kicks off at Winton Victoria later this month, (Feb 28 – March 1) as a key category with the Australian Motor Racing Series.
