EXCITING YEAR COMING UP FOR THE THUNDER SPORTS CUP WITH AMRS

Year two for The Thunder Sports Cup kicked off yesterday with entries for Round 1 at Winton Motor Raceway with the Australian Motor Racing Series (AMRS) opening.   With a fantastic growth in their very first season last year, the popularity of The Thunder Sports Cup continues to grow among competitors and fans a like! 

The first 15 entries for Round 1 sold out in only 1 hour and 26 minutes!  This includes entries from 3 different states.

Category managers Ana and John Ristevski commented, “we are so proud and excited that competitors have been looking to us as a category to come and race with! 2019 was a great first year for us, and we have been working hard to make 2020 even better! A Better media package, bigger grids and loads more fun”.

The Thunder Sports Cup is a true national event with drivers from 5 states competing at 4 tracks across 3 different states, all with the AMRS.

Race weekends are being live streamed, and a for the fans, there will be strong Social Media coverage both with The Thunder Sports Cup (check out @thundersportsofficial on Facebook and Instagram) and with the AMRS (@AMRSERIES).  A post race weekend highlights package will also be shown on TV.
