Gold Coast resident Bayley Hall continues his motorsport journey with a trip to the Gold…
INCREDIBLE NEW CHALLENGE FOR BAYLEY HALL IN A MARC CARS GT1
Last weekend Queensland youngster Bayley Hall took a big step in his motorsport career taking on a V8 MARC 1 Car in the AMRS GT1 Series at Sydney Motorsport Park.
On his debut in the series the 16 year old was second in the MARC 1 class. He was up against experienced drivers like Jake Camilleri and John Goodacre stalwarts in the series and motor-racing in general.
“This weekend was an incredible new challenge, first endurance race & first time at Sydney Motorsport Park & I had an absolute ball. Unbelievably fast track that was so fun to use all the grip and keep so much corner speed,” Bayley told Velocity Magazine.
“I am so happy with the result for my first experience in the GT1 series racing with the GJ Motorsport Team. I really enjoyed learning this track & learnt & grew every lap. It was great to hear from experienced drivers on the grid like Jake Camilleri and John Goodacre congratulating me and making sure I was proud of myself for this outstanding result. Glad to reach expectations and ready to continue growing into the future. Really looking forward to my next experience in the GT1 series”
Next up for Bayley is an all out assault on the ECB SuperUte Series with the Bathurst 1000 alongside of the Supercars next week, and the final two rounds at the Gold Coast 600 and Newcastle 500.
