The ECB SuperUte Series has a new youngster in its midst.  Ross Stone and Michael Formosa of Allgate Motorsport have announced that aspiring 16 year old Gold Coast driver Bayley Hall will compete in the three final race events for 2019 giving Hall his first opportunity to drive not only the famous Bathurst track but also the Gold Coast 600 and Newcastle 500.

The number 94 Blue and Grey Allgate Ford Ranger SuperUte will be a new challenge for the this young driver who normally drives in the Queensland Touring Car Championship in a VE Holden Commodore and most recently in a Marc Car that runs in the GT1 series.

Ironically this young driver has only just obtained his Learners License to drive off the racetrack but agrees he is much more comfortable on one. And at 16 years 2 months he will be the youngest driver ever in the SuperUte series.

“I cannot wait to conquer Bathurst, I’ve never been there before but have never missed a televised race since I was 2 and I believe it’s Australia’s greatest race track and it is an absolute honour to be racing it as a support category to the V8 Supercars,” Hall told Velocity Magazine.

“Being my first time on the track it will be a case of being fast but being smarter because you won’t learn anything by making a mistake and being on the sideline watching, so keeping the car fast and straight will be my major focus.”

Bayley got to sample the Ford Ranger SuperUte at a recent test day at Queensland Raceway.

“The few laps that I’ve had in the SuperUte went successfully, it was extremely different to drive from what I am used to in the Marc Car and VE Commodore, but after my three sessions I felt much more confident in the flow of the car.”

“I’m so grateful to fulfill this lifelong dream alongside Ross Stone whom I have always looked up to and I’m very excited for this challenge ahead.”

“My expectations for the final three rounds of the SuperUtes calendar I have set very high for myself and I will put everything I have into getting the results for my team. Any Setbacks or disappointments are just moments that provide you with the opportunity to grow, learn and improve on them and I will use that to my advantage as I take on each round.”

“I am thrilled to take on my home track on the Gold Coast which is the track I’ve visited the most as a spectator even since before I could walk as my family have always been very big Supercar followers.  I really hope that I can prove to the motorsport community that my age is of no significance, I am here to race and I am so passionate and excited to be a part of this series.”

“I am so incredibly grateful for this opportunity that has been offered by Ross Stone and Michael Formosa of AllGate Motorsport and I hope to make them proud.”

“I would also like to thank my family, especially my Dad, as they all make daily sacrifices to support me chase down my motorsport dream.  Also a huge thank you to my sponsors that have supported me throughout my journey so far: HFI, Visa Global, Morris Finance, AV Total Solutions, Morse Building Consultancy, Profender, Shayla Hall Photography, Circo Brakes, Coomera Tyre World and Consolidated Insurance Brokers.”

If you would like to support this aspiring young gun, advertising opportunities are still available for sponsors wishing to support Bayley, please contact Roy Hall on 0416041071.
