Marine Protect has this weekend’s annual visit by the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship to New Zealand covered, with the brand providing insurance to all 24 competing entries en route to the ITM Auckland SuperSprint.
Marine Protect is Australia’s leader in marine insurance, and alongside Truck Assist, forms two of the specialist brands offered by NTI Limited.
To mark the occasion, the front and rear of the Truck Assist TEKNO Racing Holden Commodore of Jack Le Brocq will carry Marine Protect branding for the event.
The Combined Cargo cover for the journey protects all cars, tools, pit equipment and spare parts, which travel from Victoria’s Avalon Airport to Auckland on specialised car racks and in aviation certified containers, with the logistics organised through long-time series supplier Gibson Freight.
“We are excited at Marine Protect to be able to provide a comprehensive Cargo policy to be covering all of the Virgin Australia Supercar Championship teams and their race equipment for the ITM Auckland SuperSprint,” said Andrew Kidd, Head of Marine Protect – National Transport Insurance.
