The driver pairing which gains the most positions during the PIRTEK Enduro Cup will win the AMAROK V6 Hard Charger Award in a new partnership with Volkswagen Amarok.

The award will be decided on the pairing and team which move up the leader board by the most positions across the four races in the endurance season, winning $15,000.

The prize could reward any pairing in the Championship given the mix of strategy, passing and inevitable variables, making for plenty of interest throughout the season of endurance.

“To stand a chance at claiming the Hard Charger title, teams will need to work their way through the field in some of the hardest wheel-to-wheel racing on the planet. A tough task at the best of times, and the perfect fit for our equally tough Amarok ute,” Volkswagen’s Nick Reid said.

“Things don’t always go to plan in the PIRTEK Enduro Cup; so this is intended to reward the team and drivers who push the hardest.

“It’s an exciting competition we are very delighted to be a part of.”

Supercars General Manager – Commercial, Jamie Black, said fans will be able to keep track of the AMAROK V6 Hard Charger leaderboard.

“This is something different for fans of all teams to follow throughout the PIRTEK Enduro Cup,” Black said.

“Supercars is delighted to work with Volkswagen and their agency PHD on this initiative.”
