FOUR AUSSIE RACING CAR DRIVERS DOING DOUBLE DUTIES IN SUPERUTES

Four Aussie Racing Car regular drivers are doing double duties in SuperUtes this coming weekend for the Century Batteries Supercars SuperSprint at Queensland Raceway.

Western Sydney Motorsport (WSM) will field 4 Aussie Racing Car Mustangs and 3 Toyota Hilux SuperUtes.

In the Aussie cars are team Owner Craig Thompson, Blake Sciberras and Justin Ruggier, Craig Woods is subbing for the still injured Grant Thompson who had a frightening accident at the last round in Darwin.

“The doctors haven’t given Grant the all clear so, Woodsy will run in the Aussie Car,” Craig Thompson told Velocity Magazine.

The two Craig’s are in the Superutes along with Jeff Watters and Charlotte Poynting, both whom have completed a round in the SuperUtes, although the later was last in the Ute in 2018 at the Newcastle finale.  Their respective Aussie Cars are also supported by WSM.

Ruggier also has double duties running in the Dunlop Super2 Series, in the Aussie Racing Cars he is leading the Championship.

Velocity Magazine will be reporting and running photographs from the event over all three days, keep an eye on our website and Facebook pages.
