JORDAN COX TESTS HONDA TCR CAR AND LIVERY REVEAL

National-level race ace and global internet sensation Jordan Cox has had his first taste of the new Honda TCR Australia car at Pheasant Wood Circuit – Marulan NSW and from his accounts looks to be happy in the car, ahead of this weekends round at The Bend Motorsport Park.

It was announced last month the Cox was to be a feature of the third round at The Bend and will run one of the Honda Civic Type R with Wall Racing and alongside of Tony D’Alberto.

After the test day and livery reveal Cox posted on his Facebook page how the day went and his special thank you’s to his sponsors and supporters.

“TCR cars are wicked!! ??”, he said on Facebook.

“Logged a handful of laps today and man what a car. Fast, predictable and refined is the best way I can describe it.

“Anyway time for our sponsorship and livery reveal! ?”

“Scotty from Mainpoint is a Motorsport nutter and has been a friend and supporter of my driving career for the last 2 years. We’ve co driven together in Production Car races and a lot fun along the way, now he’s thrown his support behind me to have a crack in the big leagues, can’t thank him enough! “

“Mark Crutcher is a regular racer himself in TA2 and the APRA Series here in NSW, his property development business has come on board for the journey and to be honest I’m about half as excited as what he is so big thanks to Mark!”

“Pitcher Partners is one of Australia’s most successful accountancy and consulting firms. Their Sydney office is full of rev heads and I have been fortunate to meet their employees and clients at a recent Pitcher Partners corporate track day. I appreciate them coming on board for the our TCR program and I can’t wait to do them proud.”

“I’ve had a relationship with the crew at Bilstein Suspension Australia since I was 14 and here we are 12 years later together in TCR. They’ve provided support for us in various racing categories, mainly in Improved Production with our Under 2 litre Hondas. Round three of the TCR Australia series gets underway tomorrow at The Bend Motorsport Park as part of the Shannons Nationals series.
