MADISON DUNSTON TESTS HER SUPERUTE AHEAD OF TOWNSVILLE NEXT WEEK

Yesterday, Madison Dunston the Aussie Racing Cars 2018 Ladies Trophy Champion tested her new steed, a Holden Colorado SuperUte at Queensland Raceway and Velocity Magazine was on hand to chat to her during the test.

Earlier this month it was announced that the 20 year old would be racing in the East Coast BullBars SuperUte series at her home circuit Reid Park for the Watpac Townsville 400

Dunston will field the Holden with support from Peters Motorsport, the Supercars-owned Colorado was raced last year by Ross Stone Racing’s Tom Alexander, who leads the 2019 standings in an Isuzu.

Townsville native Dunston has contested the street circuit meeting in the Aussie Racing Cars and the Toyota 86 Racing Series in recent years.

During the test Madison became more comfortable with the SuperUte in each of the sessions, with her lap times coming down, the Peters Motorsport engineers were happy with her progress.

We had a chat with Madison in between her practice runs: Plus see some photos from the test below.

As you’ll see in the video, Madison has a supporters and sponsors evening lined up in Townsville next Wednesday evening which will see her SuperUte on display at the restaurant, you can get all the details and purchase tickets online here: Night with Maddy or via her Facebook post below.
